FINDING ART

  1. Include photos of your art

  2. Discuss the Form, Aesthetics & Content of your art.            Form- The form, is very small, smooth, Aesthetics – It feels friendly, calm but at the same time it feels rushed, it feels packed (stuffed, crowded)                               Content- What this says right here, is that college is a life of many moments. First there’s times when we will rise above average and be a big important person like the tower, but it does not mean you can not have time with your friends. It can be a very stressful, rushed, packed life but you need to enjoy the sun, and life around you, so enjoy time with your friends.

  3. Was your Art, Art before you put a rectangle around it? Why or why not?    This was not art before I put a rectangle around it. It is considered not art because It was just a plain “wet floor” handle. No one saw it as art, no one would even try to look at it, they would avoid it, and stay away from it, as they are supposed to.

  4. Will your Art be Art after the rectangle is gone? Why or why not? It will not be art after the rectangle is gone. Why?                  My art will not be art once the rectangle is gone because it is the tool of a janitor, and janitors don’t make, or perserve art, they clean for living, so the handle will b taken and put on another floor to be avoided.

  5. Does art reside in the body of the object? So that some objects are art and some objects are not art? Explain. How do we know which objects are art and which are not?                                                              Any object can be an art, some are easier to spot then others, but there is art in every object, the only important thing, is the viewer. It depends how you see, and what it means to you that makes it art.

  6. Can art be something other than an object?                                                           In my opinion art can be anything, it does not have to be an object, because as for myself I believe that life is art, and we are objects within that art even though we can’t see it.

Does art reside in the experience of the viewer? So that it isn’t an object per se, but a way and a choice of taking the time to have a viewing experience? Yes, as I said in my previous answers the viewers point of view is what matters. Any object, can be art, it all depends how you see it, what makes it art. It does not have to be in a museum, or art show, or on a canvas, or with brushes, all that matters is the viewing point, and how you see what you claim to be art
